Professor David Blankfein-Tabachnick

Professor David Blankfein-Tabachnick has served as the Faculty Advisor for the Michigan State Law Review since 2017. Since his appointment, the journal has risen nearly fifty places in the W&L ranking of flagship American law reviews to 56th overall and 39th for scholarly impact. Under his leadership, the journal has published some of the world’s most distinguished legal scholars, established the Visionary Scholar Article Series, and the Law Review Symposium-Faculty Workshop Series. He brings expertise and enthusiasm to the Journal, and to Law Review members, he is known as “Professor DBT.”
